Garment Care

Keep your everyday favourites looking their best. Always follow the care label supplied with your garment; it takes priority over this general guide.

Before washing

  • Turn printed clothing inside out to reduce friction against the artwork.
  • Separate light, dark, and strongly coloured items. Wash new dark garments separately at first.
  • Empty pockets and fasten zips where applicable. Avoid washing delicate prints with abrasive items.

Wash gently

Use cold water, a gentle cycle, and a mild detergent where permitted by the label. Avoid bleach, harsh stain removers, and scrubbing directly over a print. Do not leave clothing soaking for long periods or wring it aggressively.

Dry with care

Air dry in the shade with the garment reshaped. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade colours. Use a drying method that supports heavier pieces without stretching them. Avoid high-heat tumble drying; use a dryer only if the care label permits it.

Iron and store

If ironing is permitted, use a low setting on the reverse side and avoid direct contact with printed artwork or embellishments. Do not iron over a print. Store garments clean and fully dry; fold heavier knits and hoodies if hanging could stretch them.

Looking after printed artwork

Repeated high heat, bleach, rough washing, and direct ironing can damage prints. Some gradual fading and softening with regular wear is normal. A little care helps preserve both the fabric and the design.
